Arizona Animals

How to clear up a tick infestation, that has come on suddenly, in the Arizona heat?
In the last two weeks, my four dogs have turned up with globs of ticks, and I have had these animals for years, so it has come on suddenly, out of nowhere. I have bathed them, started them on advantix, and sprayed the yard, with Ortho, and will have a professional out this week, but I want to know how to irradicate them. I paid lots of money for my purebred doberman, and I do not want to loose him to a tick fever, or paralysis. Please help, I am willing to take all serious responses? We have a large pine tree, and alot of birds, plus it has been really warm, and monsoon season just started, so I need to know what to do to eleviate the problem? Thank you in advance.
Apply Frontline once a month. Ticks will drop off dead within 24 hours.
