Arizona Drinks Iced Tea
Has anyone else ever got a migraine from drinking Arizona iced tea?
I’m wondering if it’s the caffeine or high fructose corn syrup or both… I drank an Arizona sweet tea the other night and shortly after waking up the next morning got a huge blind spot, which is the indication I’m about to get a full blown migraine. I only get them a couple times a year, but after this last one I realized the last time I kept getting them was when I moved last year and I was drinking gallons of Arizona iced tea! Just wondering if it has been a trigger for anyone else.
I personally don’t have any specific triggers. I don’t drink Arizona tea’s because I think they taste bad, so I couldn’t say if those would be a trigger for me.
Foods high in tyramine are believed to be among the worst migraine triggers. This would include things such as aged cheese and deli meats. There are many foods that could trigger migraine. Caffeine, chocolate, bananas, MSG (found in things such as canned stews, soya sauce, and powdered soups), and citrus fruits.
