Need Help Getting a Job?
Im 20 Years Old, Living in Phoenix Arizona, I pretty much know almost everything there is to know about computers, software usage and technical support and hardware (i can take apart a computer and put it together with my eyes closed, I know whats good, bad, brand names, I know some web design, some programming, about the games, programs, media. Now knowing all this, Half the Pc tech Guys ive called knew less than me, and I dont want to work at a fast food joint or bagging grocerys. So not to sound arrogant, sorry If i did, but I was wondering how I could put it to use, because I know there has got to be some need for the skills Ive aquired being a nerd. Any Ideas on how to go abound finding a job that could use my potential. Every place Ive applied at asks for experience, but how can I get that if no one will give me a shot. Ive lost hope at finding a job for me -_-. I wouldnt mind working something in music either, for ive been playing guitar 10 yrs. Im open to ALL suggestions,.
I would see if you can get an entry level position in help desk support.
If you can’t get a job immediately that utilizes your tech skills, see if there are any admin positions for a tech company, and try to transition over into a technical role. Even if you aren’t doing technical work, at least the company will produce a product that interests you.
