Debate points on the Arizona immigration law?
What are some points you would bring up when debating against the new immigration law in Arizona?
The border security issue here in Arizona is serious.
The new immigration law does nothing to increase border security. It has been responsible for a slight decrease in illegals coming across the border–folks looking for work. It hasn’t had any influence on drug trafficking. Drug cartels gaining power and influence in Northern Mexico aren’t really hurt by our new Immigration Law.
If every illegal living, working and paying taxes in Arizona were to pack up and leave the state tomorrow, it would devastate our economy.
It’s a bad law because it’s not in best Arizona’s interest to enforce it.
