Should I live in Tempe or Tucson Arizona?
I have read a lot of answers regarding Arizona but they were over 5 years ago. I would like to get the opinion from you guys regarding 2010 & 2011. What’s the job market like in the health care field for the two cities listed above. How is the real estate market and cost of living? Are the two cities listed multicultural and between Mesa & Pima Community College which is the best.
That depends, do you want college town or ghetto? Tempe and Tucson both have their pros and cons. U of A has a medical school, but Phoenix has a ton of hospitals. Tucson is still growing and Tempe is landlocked. Houses are not being built in Tempe so you choose from what is there. Because of that the houses may be a little more expensive…but we still haven’t gotten out of the slump, so you should be fine there. The cost of living is about equal. Mesa CC and Pima CC are both great schools and both schools will transfer courses to U of A or ASU. If you are looking to transfer in the future I would take a look at the program you want to transfer to.
