i got a ticket by mistake, the officer got it wrong what can i do?
hello , i was in san diego last weekend, friday i got pull over by sdpd, , i made a wrong turn coming out of a parking lot, but when the officer ask for my driver license, wich is from arizona, he then tells me that the license its cancelled. so they call the tow truck because i can not drive my truck because of the license being cancelled by arizona mvd. 2 days later i found out it wasnt true, my license still good until 2042 when it expires, it was my ID card the one cancelled, i even have the license record to proff it. i have to pay 450 dlls to get my truck back, can i have the ticket clear out, and have my money reimburse in court . thanks
You won’t get out of the wrong turn ticket. You should be able to get out of a driving without a license ticket without too much trouble, just by showing that the cop was in error. Getting your money back from the wrongful impound would be tougher, you will probably need a lawyer for that.
