about swaddling when baby goes to bed?
ok i live in usa, arizona… you all schould know how how it gets here.. im due august 6th and my room (where baby will be staying) is mostly kept cool by a fan. we use the air but its so expensive its not rly up to me how cold we keep it. so ? is if IM good in shorts and a tank is baby the same temp? or are they colder than us? ive heard both.. and do i need to swaddle him when i put him to sleep if its warm-ish in the room? or is a onesie or footie pj’s fine?
The swaddle isn’t really intended for warmth… it makes the baby feel secure. Some love it, some hate it. Mine won’t sleep without being swaddled so when it’s warm I’ll swaddle her with only a diaper on. She runs much colder than we do. I haven’t had the air on in days because her poor little hands and feet get so cold. When we’re sitting here sweating, she feels cool and comfortable. I’m sure some babies are different, though.
