Arizona Phoenix Times

I am visiting Phoenix Arizona next weekend does anyone have any suggestions.?
I’m planning to move to Phoenix next fall, so I’m visiting for a weekend next week to get a feel for the city. I’m in my mid-twenties, and I am not one for partying and clubbing. Does anyone have insider tips on fun and interesting things to do? If anyone has any general tips I’d like those too! Finally, how much can I rely on public transit? I don’t want to drive the entire time I’m there.
i agree with him, you should come in the summer to make sure you can handle the BLAZING heat, it gets really ridiculous!
But anyways, you will pretty much need a car. the light rail system only goes a little ways downtown and theres really nothing much downtown, its all businesses.
you should go to Westgate- its in the west valley, it’s basically an outdoor plaza that has restaurants, movies, a few shops. its more of a night place though- there are only like 2 stores there open during the day but at night is all light up and fountains and lots of people going out to eat. if you want to go to another outdoor plaza during the day with great shopping- go to Desert Ridge in the north valley and has tons of great shops.
you can go hiking- there are tons of mountains/parks, south mountain in south phoenix, i always go to thunderbirk mountain in north phoenix.
you could check out old town scottsdale- its just like old western shops/restaurants.
you can email me if you are really interested in something like hiking and i can give you exact directions. have a good time!

Walk the Line $6.46 This is not a review about Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon’s hair. However–as any self-respecting fan knows–in country music, after proving you can pluck a guitar and carry a tune, the power of the right hairstyle is not to be underestimated. Johnny Cash, in fact, was famously vain about his locks–perhaps one of the few things he was vain about–and many a guitar store employee can attest… |
