Exchange to America Dec- Feb 2007!?
Just after a few opinions. Im going on exchange to the US at the end of December through to the start of Feb and i have to choose a place to stay with a family for 2 weeks. I have no idea which one they all sound so good!
Hey Guys,
Just after a few opinions.
My choices are:
1. Greater Seattle, Washington state.
2. San Diego, Southern California.
3.San Francisco, California.
4. Phoenix, Arizona.
5. Portland Oregon.
6. Santa Barbara, California.
7. Albuquerque, New Mexico.
8. Redlands, Palm Springs, California.
9.Valdosta, Georgia,
10.Vancouver, Canada
Im already going to LA, San Fran Cisco and Mexico!
Just wondering if there are any stand outs for anyone!
Thanks heaps!
P.S. Does anyone know where there would definately be snow? & What Albuquerque is like?
Taa xxx
It snows in Canada, Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, and Georgia.
Just my opinion, but I think, generally speaking, that the schools in Arizona are better than the ones in California. The two state governments operate from totally opposite “political” points of view. Arizona is more “conservative” in its approach, while California is more “liberal”.
Albuquerque is a mostly modern, growing city, with a bit of “Spanish” influence.
