Arizona State Map Free Online
where can i find FREE topographic maps for the states of Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona?
Im working on a project for work and require topographic maps from an online source. i would prefer them to be free. can you please tell me where i can find these maps? any links? thanks
Do you have to use digital USGS topographic maps, or can you Digital Elevation Models and free software? The functionality of the software is limited unless you register it, which costs $247 a year. The software can contour the DEM’s with a contour interval as small as three inches. Google Global Mapper and down load the software for free. Set up an account with geodata.com for free to download DEMs for free. If you e-mail me, I can attach a tutorial I wrote over two years ago telling you how to do this to a reply.
Thanks to W’s administration, you now have to pay twice to get USGS digital topographic maps, because you have to pay a commercial company to download DRG files.
