Arizona Temperatures In Celsius
Kelowna, BC is colder than Fairbanks Alaska. Why?
Kelowna (at 50 degrees N) is one of the hottest places in Canada. So hot in the summer they grow peaches, grapes, etc. However, the nighttime temperature in the summer is colder than Fairbanks (at around 64 degrees N). During July the temperature in Kelowna is around 10 degrees Celsius, while Fairbanks only drops to 11 degrees.
Please don’t give the answer that Fairbanks gets more hours of daylight, because that would mean Kelowna should be warmer than Tuson or Pheonix Arizona. Also, both of their airports are in valley bottoms making them susceptible to frost. Also, they are both similar very dry climates, so don’t use the Kelowna is desert-like – because they both are.
