Arizona Vapor Water
what is a good way to COOL DOWN a room that does not have AC? read detailes……..?
i’m in Arizona, so dont tell me to open the windows LOL
i do not have the option to add a window AC unit.
i cannot add a vent from the main AC unit.
i was interested to know if those WATER VAPOR COOLERS/FANS work well, since they are in my budget (which is up to $140)
any info will help…
get a cooler full of ice and have a small fan blow the air OUT from the inside (don’t short it…having water there and all…) this will give out a cool breeze and is great for the nite if you have a quiet fan.
at the same time, have a fan on the upper side of the window blow OUT the hot air during the night (the hot air is higher in the room and hangs out there, so you want a fan blowing it out from the upper level. put a fan on a table ifyou have to)
finally, those water vapor coolers can work well in dry climates. but dont expect them to blow you away with cold air or something… I would just get one to try out, you can always return it to Home Depot or wherever…
