Phoenix Arizona Museums

Antiquties; a reporting of potential findings question.?
When reporting what might appear as an antiquties finding in Arizona; besides reporting it to the Arizona State Museum do you also have to report it to anyone else; like the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the (BIA); say like the office out of Phoenix? Is it required, if not, why not? Especially; if it is on tribal land(s).
If you find it on your land I believe it belongs to you, if you found it on Arizona state property it belongs to them. If it is on tribal lands as you say it is not yours, it belongs to the tribe that owns the land. Don’t disturb it.
